Not all facials are about relaxation — some are about real results.
At Ten Beauty in Cobham, our microneedling facial is a targeted treatment designed to stimulate collagen production, improve texture, fade pigmentation, and soften the appearance of fine lines and scarring. Using ultra-fine needles and serums tailored to your skin’s specific concerns, this treatment works below the surface to trigger natural renewal and strengthen your skin from within.
You may leave a little flushed or red — that’s completely normal. It’s a sign your skin is responding, repairing, and rebuilding from the inside out.
For clients wanting a smoother canvas beforehand, our Go & Glow Enzyme Facial can be booked 3–5 days prior to help decongest and prep the skin gently.
Performed in our private beauty studio in Cobham, Surrey.

Microneedling can improve a range of skin concerns, including fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation, uneven texture, enlarged pores, and loss of firmness. It helps stimulate collagen and elastin, making skin look fresher, smoother, and more youthful.
It shouldn’t be painful. Most clients describe it as a light prickling or scratchy feeling. We use a gentle, professional-grade device and always tailor the depth based on your skin type and concerns to keep you comfortable.
Right after the treatment, your skin may look a little pink or feel slightly warm – like a mild sunburn – for 24–48 hours. This is completely normal and part of the skin’s natural healing response. After that, expect a healthy, radiant glow!
Downtime is minimal. You might have some redness or slight sensitivity for a day or two, but most people go about their day as normal. You’ll just want to skip makeup, heat, and intense exercise for 24 hours after the facial.
For best results, a course of 3–6 treatments spaced about 4–6 weeks apart is ideal. That said, even one session can visibly boost glow and skin tone!
It’s best to avoid makeup for 24 hours to allow your skin to breathe and heal properly. After that, you can go back to your usual routine.
Microneedling isn’t recommended if you’re pregnant, have active acne, open wounds, or certain skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area.
This isn’t just pampering – it’s skin transformation. While traditional facials focus on surface-level glow, microneedling goes deeper to stimulate real change in the skin’s structure, improving tone, texture, and firmness over time.
Follow the aftercare advice, stay hydrated, wear SPF daily, and avoid harsh skincare for a few days. A consistent skincare routine and regular treatments will give you the best long-term results.
It’s best to plan your microneedling facial at least 7–10 days before your holiday, especially if you’re going somewhere sunny. After microneedling, your skin is more sensitive to UV exposure and needs time to heal. You’ll also need to avoid direct sun, swimming pools, and saunas for a few days. For best results (and to protect your glow), give your skin time to recover before jetting off!
To be safe, avoid this facial for at least 2 weeks after Botox injections. Microneedling and facial massage can affect how the Botox settles, so it’s best to let it fully integrate first. Likewise, it’s recommended to wait 5–7 days after this facial before having Botox done. Always space them out to get the best results from both treatments!
If you’re using retinol or retinoids, stop using them at least 3–5 days before your facial and wait 3–5 days after before starting again. These ingredients can make your skin extra sensitive after microneedling.
If you’ve taken Roaccutane (isotretinoin) for acne, you’ll need to wait at least 6 months after your final dose before having microneedling. This gives your skin time to fully heal and avoid unwanted reactions. Not sure if it’s suitable for you? Just ask — I’m happy to advise!
